The High-tech Development Zone of Baoding City, Hebei Province revealed on the 8th that China's only photovoltaic system testing platform project has been officially signed and settled in "Baoding China Electric Valley".
It is reported that at the "Hebei Baoding China Electric Valley Promotion Conference" held in Xiamen on the 8th, the Baoding National High-tech Zone Management Committee and the Institute of Electrical Engineering of the Chinese Academy of Sciences signed an agreement to jointly build the Chinese Academy of Sciences photovoltaic system testing laboratory project.
The total investment of the project is RMB 90 million, covering an area of 30 mu. The project is a project in the "Solar Energy Action Plan" of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, mainly focusing on the research and development experiments of solar photovoltaic system controllers, inverters and tracking systems, and is currently the only photovoltaic system testing platform in China.
The person in charge of the Baoding National High-tech Zone Management Committee said that the laboratory will be built into a national public research center for testing, research and development, and demonstration of solar photovoltaic balance systems, and strive to become an internationally authoritative testing center. At the same time, the project will enable Baoding High-tech Zone to have high-tech testing capabilities, speed up the certification of photovoltaic products, and facilitate the gathering of new energy and new light source industries here.
The person in charge said that at the 13th China International Investment and Trade Fair, the governments of Hebei Province and Baoding City launched the "Baoding China Electric Valley Promotion Conference" to promote the industrial cluster advantages of new energy and energy equipment manufacturing that have been formed in Baoding, and to accelerate industrial docking with new energy organizations and enterprises at home and abroad and in Taiwan.
Since 2006, Baoding, Hebei Province has been committed to building a leading city in China's new energy industry, and has made every effort to build the "China Electric Valley" and the "Solar Energy City". It has successively built six major industrial systems including photovoltaics, wind power, power transmission and transformation, power storage, power saving, and power automation. It has been named China's only "National High-tech Industrial Base for New Energy Industry" and "Solar Energy Comprehensive Application Technology Demonstration City" by the National Development and Reform Commission and others.
