The figure shows an oscillator composed of ECL or NOT gates (a).
An oscillator can be easily formed by using an ECL single-gate circuit or a dual-gate circuit and an RC timing network. In practical applications, this circuit is often used to generate square wave signals and perform functional tests and dynamic parameter tests on ECL components. The table shows the measured data of the circuit in the figure.
