From the perspective of consumers, we have been fooled once two years ago - manufacturers at that time vowed that 3D TV would quickly become popular, and many users who bought TVs were fooled and paid a lot of money for 3D functions in vain, but they still haven't seen a genuine 3D TV. Will 4K TV fool us again?

Judging from the speed at which 4K TVs are being commercialized, 4K is no longer a concept on paper, but will become the next performance benchmark.

The most important difference - the screen

One of the major flaws of 3D is that we can't find a unified standard to require and regulate it. Active, passive, refresh rate, brightness loss, even if you know these technical terms, each manufacturer's 3D TV standards are different, and you can't tell the difference between 3D images and ordinary high-definition images. Facts have proved that the effect of 3D TV is still far from what manufacturers advertise. Can you turn your living room into an iMax theater by wearing a pair of glasses at home? Don't dream.

Without unified standards and little visual advantage, consumers will naturally not pay for 3D. However, 4K TVs do not have to worry about these problems at all.
