First, use a compass to draw a large hole, then make a Φ1mm small hole at the center of the large hole, point "0", and insert a wire with a diameter of about Φ0.9mm into the small hole. Bend a hook under the laminate, press down the wire on top to make it close to the board surface , and stretch it. Make a small circle around the "A" point of the large hole to fix the blade of the carving knife. At this time, press the laminate with your left hand, hold the carving knife handle with your right hand, and use the "OA" broken wire as the radius. Use the tip of the knife to repeatedly scratch around the large hole, and eventually the large circle will be cut and the large hole will stand out. If the laminate is too thick (such as five-ply board, gorgeous board), you can pull out the wire and move it to the bottom of the laminate. Score as described above until it is carved out. The method is shown in Figure 6-81.
