Basic knowledge of infrared receiver
The infrared receiving circuit is usually composed of an infrared receiving diode and an amplifier circuit. The amplifier circuit is usually composed of an integrated block and several components such as resistors and capacitors, and needs to be packaged in a metal shielding box. Therefore, the circuit is relatively complex, but the volume is very small, not even as large as a 7805!
SFH506-38 and RPM-638 are a special infrared receiving circuit, which integrates the infrared receiving tube and the amplifier circuit into one, with a small size (equivalent to a medium-power triode), good sealing, high sensitivity, and low price, with a market price of only a few yuan. It has only three pins, namely the positive pole of the power supply, the negative pole of the power supply, and the signal output terminal. Its operating voltage is about 5V. As long as it is connected to the power supply, it is a complete infrared receiving amplifier, which is very convenient to use.
Its main functions include amplification, frequency selection, and demodulation. The input signal must be a modulated signal. After its receiving amplification and demodulation, the original signal will be directly output at the output end. Thus, the circuit is simplified to the minimum! The sensitivity and anti-interference performance are very good, which can be said to be an ideal device for receiving infrared signals.
