  Samsung currently launches the S3C6400 and S3C6410, both of which are based on the ARM architecture and have compatible hardware pins. It should be said that the general functions are basically the same. The obvious difference is that the S3C6410 comes with 2D/3D hardware acceleration.


  S3C2440 is actually a very good CPU. It is cheap and has many internal resources. Most importantly, it is used by many people in China and there is a lot of relevant information.   Main frequency 533MHz;

  Supports both Nor Flash and Nand Flash. Nand Flash supports both SLC and MLC architectures, thus greatly expanding storage space;

  Supports multiple startup methods: mainly including SD, Nand Flash, Nor Flash and OneFlash device startup

  8 DMA channels, including LCD, UART, Camera and other dedicated DMA channels;

  USB2.0 slave device controller;

  Internal LCD, I2C, Camera and other controllers.

  

  S3C6410:

  Main frequency 800MHz;

  Dual bus architecture, one for memory bus and one for Flash bus;

  DDR memory controller;

  Supports both Nor Flash and Nand Flash. Nand Flash supports both SLC and MLC architectures, thus greatly expanding storage space;

  Supports multiple startup methods: mainly including SD, Nand Flash, Nor Flash and OneFlash device startup

  8 DMA channels, including LCD, UART, Camera and other dedicated DMA channels;

  USB2.0 OTG controller;

  Internal video decoder, including MPEG4, H.264, H.263 and other video formats;

  Internal video accelerator, including 2D and 3D processing.

  Based on S3C2440, in addition to increasing the main frequency, S3C2450 mainly adds DDR control and MLC architecture Nand Flash controller.
