STM323 IWDG independent watchdog, the function and related introduction need not be explained again, the configuration process is as follows

// Configuration steps:

// 1. Write 0x5555 to IWDG_KR to cancel the write protection of IWDG_PR and IWDG_RLR;
// 2. Configure the values of IWDG_PR (frequency division value) and IWDG_RLR (re-device);
// 3. Write 0xAAAA to IWDG_KR, feed the dog once, and make STM32 reload the value of IWDG_RLR
// 4. Write 0xCCCC to IWDG_KR to start the watchdog. Remember to feed the dog at regular intervals in the relevant parts of the program.

Corresponding code program:
IWDG_WriteAccessCmd(IWDG_WriteAccess_Enable);
IWDG_SetPrescaler(IWDG_Prescaler_8);
IWDG_SetReload(0xFFF);
IWDG_ReloadCounter();
IWDG_Enable();

Regarding the calculation of dog feeding time, please see the following table:

for example:

If IWDG_SetPrescaler(IWDG_Prescaler_8); it means frequency division by 8

IWDG_SetReload(0xFFF);

From the table above, we can see that the IWDG timing time is 8192.2ms. If the dog feeding program is not performed after this time period, it will be regarded as a program runaway and the initialization program will be executed.

Table 83 comes from the Internet.
