Question: What are the three main parts of the lower 128 units of RAM in the 8051 chip? What are the main functions of each part?
Answer: The division and main functions of the lower 128 units of RAM in the chip are as follows:
(1) Working register group (00H - 1FH)
This is an area directly addressed by registers, 0-31 of the internal data RAM area, a total of 32 units. It is 4 general working register groups, each group contains 8 8-bit registers, numbered R0-R7.
(2) Bit addressing area (20H-2FH)
16 byte units contain a total of 128 bits. These 16 byte units can be used for both byte addressing and bit addressing. They are mainly used for bit addressing.
(3) Stack and data buffer (30H-7FH)
is used to set up the stack and store data.
