Shanghai, China, September 24 - During the 2024 Shanghai China International Industry Fair, the innovative HDC HMN connector of TE Connectivity (TE) Industrial Division has added a new case and has been successfully applied to the latest JAKA MAX series of industrial collaborative robots released by JAKA Robotics. Through close cooperation with JAKA Robotics, this innovative connector will help JAKA Robotics' heavy-duty robots meet the needs of high current and high protection, and support the expansion of applications in heavy-duty operation scenarios. In addition, TE Connectivity has a wealth of connection products, including INTERCONTEC series connectors, AMPMODU board-to-wire connectors, heavy-duty connectors, Shaffner/Schaffner brand filters and other products, which have been widely used on different robot platforms. For a long time, TE Industrial Division has continuously deepened the localization strategy of "Local for Local", strengthened localized manufacturing, production and R&D, to meet the high performance and high reliability requirements of the Chinese industrial automation market for connection and sensor electronic components.
TE Industrial's innovative HDC HMN connector products
Mr. Emmanuel Dieppedalle, Global Chief Commercial Officer of Tyco Electronics Industrial Division said: "Under the dual waves of automation and intelligence, industrial robots play an increasingly important role in the global industrial transformation. Since entering the Chinese mainland market in 1988, TE has always been optimistic about the huge growth potential of the Chinese market in the field of industrial automation. At present, TE Industrial Division is also continuing to focus on the Chinese market, continuously deepening the localization strategy and layout, and combining mergers and acquisitions and other measures to further improve the efficiency and level of localization, so as to better meet the needs of the Chinese market and help customers stay at the forefront of the industry."
With the advancement of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing, the connection system of robots is developing towards miniaturization, reliability and flexibility. The modular design makes the connection components more compact and improves the transmission density, but it also brings the challenge of maintaining high quality of signal transmission and reliability of data protection in a small space. The new generation of industrial robots continues to increase the demand for high speed, low latency and intelligent control. Connectors, filters and sensors must keep signals clear and stable during high-speed data transmission. As a global technology company in the field of connectivity and sensing, TE Industrial Division has a rich and extensive product portfolio that can provide support for the precise control and high-performance applications of industrial robots with safe, reliable and efficient signal transmission and data protection, while meeting the stringent requirements in various production environments.
JEKA Robotics' newly released MAX 40 industrial collaborative robot
The JAKA MAX series of industrial collaborative robots adopt an integrated joint design, which not only meets the requirements of greater loads, but also has lower energy consumption and is safer to use. Compared with traditional industrial robot solutions, the HDC HMN connector solution successfully applied to the JAKA MAX 40 industrial collaborative robot innovatively customizes the transmission module containing 360° shielded Ethernet, integrating Ethernet transmission while ensuring high current and high protection requirements. The solution also adopts an advanced technical route and has a multi-pin product design, which can not only meet the needs of the current platform, but also support the needs of future platform development. At present, the solution has achieved local production, manufacturing, and R&D, and the delivery cycle has been greatly shortened. In addition, customized services can also be provided to meet customers' technical routes, help customers reduce costs, and enhance the competitiveness of their products.
In addition to large-load models, TE Industrial Division's HDC, INTERCONTEC, AMPMODU and other series of connector products and solutions have also been successfully applied in many JEKA robot products, including but not limited to the general-purpose JEKA Zu series, the high-protection Pro series, and the desktop Mini series. At present, these robot products have been widely used in industries such as automotive parts, 3C electronics, semiconductors, and new energy. As the preferred partner in the field of global collaborative robots and connectors, JEKA Robotics and TE Industrial Division are also continuously breaking through technological innovations, and the strong combination enables the rapid development of the global robot market.
In addition to the innovative solutions applied to collaborative robots, TE Industrial Division also has a rich and extensive product portfolio in the field of mobile and industrial robot applications to meet customer needs in one stop. For example, SR6/FGR relays, Dynamic series connectors, and M8/M12 connectors can maintain stable performance in harsh environments, Mini I/O cable connectors and RJ45 connectors combine compact design and high performance, and Shaffner filters have excellent anti-EMI interference capabilities. At present, TE Industrial Division's many connectors, filters and solutions can be widely used in automated robot equipment such as industrial six-axis robots, Cobot collaborative robots, SCARA industrial four-axis robots, and mobile robots (such as AGV and AMR). Customized designs can be provided to meet a variety of application requirements, helping the industry to improve overall production capacity and adaptability.
"China has always been one of the company's important markets. In recent years, the company has continuously increased its layout in China and further improved the local industrial value chain of TE Connectivity's Industrial Division. Today, most of TE Connectivity's Industrial Division's products have been developed, produced, and manufactured locally. At the same time, we rely on the local value chain built by the "In China for China" strategy and the global sales, production, and service network layout to not only meet local market demand, but also feed back to our local customers and help them achieve successful overseas expansion." Mr. Song Xianghui, Sales Director of TE Connectivity's Industrial Division in Greater China and Southeast Asia , said.
Relying on the "In China for China" strategy, TE Industrial Division continues to fulfill its firm commitment to development in China. At present, China has become one of TE's most important patent application regions in the world, with more than 3,000 engineers in China. In terms of localized production, TE Industrial Division continues to deepen its presence in the global industrial automation field by deepening its presence in the Chinese market and combining TE's rich experience in the field of industrial automation, applying these insights to the global market to ensure the technical foresight and competitiveness of products in overseas markets. In addition, TE Industrial Division has established partnerships with many companies in the Chinese market. TE has participated in the R&D and design of terminal products, and has worked with customers to develop innovative connector products and solutions that meet market needs.
Guided by the "In China for China" strategy, TE Industrial Division continues to build local service "full capabilities", continuously improves innovation and R&D levels, and provides industry partners with highly reliable product portfolios and services, all of which meet the Chinese market's comprehensive development of robot technology in terms of high speed, low latency and intelligent control. In the future, TE Industrial Division will continue to focus on the unique needs of the local market and help improve the quality and efficiency of the industrial field with high-quality products and solutions.
