Rohde & Schwarz Satellite Industry Day 2022 virtual conference will be launched with four major themes


This online conference will collaborate with industry experts to focus on cutting-edge topics such as satellite and space technology, and hold four virtual summits.

The upcoming Rohde & Schwarz "Satellite Industry Day" virtual conference will offer a series of online activities and invite global participants to have in-depth discussions on the latest developments and applications of satellite and space technology. The "Satellite Industry Day" series of events will officially start on February 22, 2022. Participants can participate in four forums online and have the opportunity to talk with industry experts and gain insights into new opportunities in the future satellite industry. The event themes are as follows:


First event: Challenges of new space satellite constellations

Second event: Future initiatives for non-terrestrial networks and satellite 5G/IOT (Internet of Things)

Event 3: Next Generation Satellite Design and Quantum Cryptography

Fourth event: R&D of high-throughput and ultra-high-throughput satellite designs

The first event, "Challenges of New Space Satellite Constellations," will focus on the challenges of planning reliable satellite links around the world and optimizing transceiver usage, even for large satellite networks. Other topics include production and testing of small satellites, adaptive beamforming and beamforming of phased array antennas, liquid crystal antenna design, and optimization of beam and clustered beam-hopping systems.
