1. Pay attention to anti-static when using LED products.
Anti-static measures should be taken during the processing and production of LED products, such as: the workbench should be grounded, workers should wear anti-static clothing, wear anti-static rings, and wear anti-static gloves, etc. If conditions permit, anti-static ion fans can be installed. At the same time, the humidity of the production workshop should be kept at around 65% to prevent the air from being too dry and generating static electricity, especially green LEDs are easily damaged by static electricity. In addition, the anti-static ability of LEDs of different quality grades is also different. The anti-static ability of LEDs with high quality grades is stronger.

2. Pay attention to the use of DC constant current power supply when using LED
products. In order to reduce product costs, some manufacturers use the "resistance-capacitance step-down" method to power LED products, which will directly affect the life of LED products. A dedicated switching power supply (preferably a constant current source) should be used to power LED products, so that the service life of the product will not be affected, although the product cost is relatively high.

3. When using LED products, pay attention to the fact that the temperature rise will reduce the internal resistance of the LED.
When the external environment temperature rises, the internal resistance of the LED light source will decrease. If a voltage-stabilized power supply is used, the working current of the LED will increase. When it exceeds its rated working current, it will affect the service life of the LED product. In severe cases, the LED light source will be "burned out". Therefore, a constant current source should be used to power the LED to ensure that the working current of the LED is not affected by the external temperature.

4. When using LED products, pay attention to the sealing of LED products.
LED products are often used outdoors and also face the problem of waterproof and moisture-proof sealing. If not handled properly, it will directly affect the service life of the LED product. Some manufacturers with high requirements for product quality use the traditional epoxy resin "pouring" method to seal LED products. This method is more troublesome to operate and is not very suitable for larger LED products (such as LED guardrail lights). It will also increase the weight of the product.

5. When using LED products, pay attention to the control technology of LED guardrail lights
. At present, the most widely used control technology for LED guardrail lights is the "serial communication" method. Its advantage is that each guardrail light has no specific "coding" and can be interchanged at will, which is convenient for production and engineering installation. But its biggest disadvantage is that once one guardrail light is damaged, it will directly affect all the guardrail lights behind it. For guardrail light projects of hundreds or even thousands of meters, it is difficult to ensure that every guardrail light is problem-free due to external factors and the quality of the product itself. Therefore, if a guardrail light has a problem, it will cause the paralysis of some guardrail lights.
