In 2010, the output value of solar LED street lights was approximately US$261 million. In the future, the solar LED lighting field will maintain an annual growth rate of more than 60%, and the proportion of solar LED street lights will gradually increase. By 2013, the global solar LED street light market size will exceed US$1 billion.

Solar landscape lighting fixtures include landscape lighting fixtures for park scenic area roads and garden lighting fixtures for community families. Compared with the development of solar street lights, its initial stage was mainly driven by government forces, but due to the limitations of solar cells and LED lighting technology at the time, the cost of solar landscape lighting fixtures was relatively high and the market size was relatively small. Taking American households as an example, the United States currently has about 128 million households, with a total of about 3-5 million acres of lawns. According to a report from saf EL aws.org, there are about 103.9 million households in the United States with lawns. If each household with an independent lawn installs two solar garden lights, there are about 208 million solar garden lights.
