Residential electricity consumption is related to the daily life of thousands of families. The draft for soliciting opinions on "electricity price reform" proposed by the National Development and Reform Commission recently caused a stir and became a hot topic. In the latest issue of a certain magazine, the recent shocking official language was counted, and the tiered electricity price was on the list. The reason for the list is that Cao Changqing, director of the Price Department of the National Development and Reform Commission, believes that the starting point of implementing the tiered electricity price is to promote energy conservation and emission reduction, and the purpose of energy conservation and emission reduction is to promote the sustainable development of the economy and society.
This statement was seriously questioned: First, is the tiered electricity price reasonable? Why does it feel like a disguised price increase? Can energy conservation and emission reduction really be achieved after the implementation of the tiered electricity price? Second, behind this "benefit for everyone" is that the public pays more money only in exchange for the benefits of "energy conservation and emission reduction", while the power sector makes money, the monopoly welfare is even higher, and it will also receive the benefits of "energy conservation and emission reduction". How can people be psychologically balanced? Third, if the purpose of a price increase plan is to make "everyone benefit" after energy conservation and emission reduction, then why not reduce the number of public buses and the three public consumptions? This is a plan that benefits everyone.
On the one hand, there are severe doubts, and on the other hand, residents are beginning to discuss how to save electricity. Previously, I interviewed many designers from home improvement companies on this issue, and they helped everyone save electricity from basic home decoration. Then, considering that saving electricity in daily life starts with basic lighting electricity, the reporter visited the market and found that LED lighting may be the only choice for residents to fight against the tiered electricity price.
Five advantages of LED lighting to replace traditional lighting
LED lighting is regarded as a milestone in the development of "green lighting". What is the difference between LED lighting and traditional lighting? Lighting Lighting Industry insiders unanimously believe that LED lighting has achieved an absolute victory. The following are the five major advantages of LED lighting:
First, low energy consumption, super power saving. LED lighting is also known as light-emitting diode lighting. With the same lighting effect, LED lighting can save more than 80% energy compared to traditional lighting.
A 3-watt LED lamp has the same lighting effect as a 25-watt traditional lamp, but the energy consumption is only one-eighth of that. One kilowatt-hour of electricity can keep a 25-watt lamp on for 40 hours, so if you use LED lamps at home, one kilowatt-hour of electricity can keep it on for 320 hours. While saving electricity, you can also save a lot of electricity bills.
If the effect on residential electricity consumption is not particularly obvious, the effect on commercial electricity consumption can be said to be immediate. Mr. Wang Xin, general manager of Revlon Building Materials, gave a case to reporters. A high-end club can save about 200,000 yuan a year based on an 8-hour business day. This does not include maintenance costs, air conditioning consumption savings, etc.
Second, long life. Many residents have complained that when a light bulb breaks, they have to take the risk of climbing a ladder to replace it; the maintenance fee for the property management company is more expensive than the light bulb itself. Especially in high-rise or split-level houses, it is even more difficult to replace a light bulb. However, the technical principle of LED lighting makes it not easy to be damaged. According to laboratory data, the life of LED can reach 50,000 hours, that is, 5-6 years, which is simply incomparable to traditional lighting.
Third, pollution-free is more in line with the country's requirements for energy conservation and emission reduction. Few people may know that energy-saving lamps contain mercury, a toxic substance. When the bulb breaks down, gaseous mercury will evaporate, thereby polluting the environment. 1 mg of mercury can directly pollute 360 tons of water. In addition to being free of chemical substances, LED lighting's cold light source characteristics reduce carbon dioxide emissions, achieving the goal of energy conservation and emission reduction.
Fourth, no flicker. I believe this is also a concern of many parents. Flicker-free light sources can greatly reduce the incidence of myopia in children. In addition to the well-known causes of myopia in adolescents, such as genetic genes and bad reading posture habits, many experts and scholars have also proposed that insufficient classroom illumination, excessive sugar intake, excessive protein, and lack of certain vitamins or trace elements are the causes. Among them, the flicker of fluorescent lamps directly affects the vision of adolescents.
Fifth, the pure spectrum makes the color reproduction more realistic and the color cast is improved. In addition, energy-saving lamps and tungsten filament lamps actually contain a certain amount of ultraviolet rays, while LED lighting does not contain ultraviolet rays and is more beneficial to health.
LED lighting may quickly enter the home market due to power transformation
In fact, there are many LED technology products around us, such as LCD TVs, LCD computers, etc., but LED lighting is a little unfamiliar. This is no wonder. At present, LED lighting is widely used in outdoor lighting. There are already dozens of demonstration roads in China that use LED lighting. The indoor general lighting market is still lagging behind. Fortunately, with the help of the Beijing Olympics, the World Expo, and the Guangzhou Asian Games, the large-scale use of LED lighting in the venues has given people a new understanding of LED.
At present, the pace of LED lighting entering the home furnishing market is a little difficult. Wang Xin bluntly stated that "the high price is the key reason why ordinary consumers cannot accept it". As the market is gradually opened up and mass production is carried out, it is only a matter of time before the price drops. On the other hand, the reform of electricity prices may create a good opportunity for LED lighting to enter the home furnishing market in a big way. With the forced change of energy-saving concepts, residents may be more willing to accept the benefits of LED energy saving and electricity saving.
