For full-color LED display screens, LED lamp beads are the most critical components, and the quality of LED lamp beads plays a very important role in determining the quality of LED display screens.

First of all, LED lamp beads are used in the largest number in the entire full-color LED display screen, with thousands or even tens of thousands of LED lamp beads per square meter.

Finally, LED lamp beads directly determine the performance, color saturation and clarity of the full-color LED display.

The important indicators of LED lamp quality are:

1. Brightness of full-color LED display

The brightness of the LED lamp beads determines the brightness of the full-color LED display. The higher the brightness of the LED lamp beads, the greater the margin of the current used, which is good for saving power and maintaining the stability of the LED lamp beads. LED lamp beads have different angle values. When the chip brightness is fixed, the smaller the angle, the brighter the LED, but the viewing angle of the display is smaller. Generally, 100-110 degree LED lamp beads should be selected to ensure sufficient viewing angle of the full-color LED display.

2. Full-color LED display failure rate

LED display screens are made up of tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of red, green and blue LED lamp beads. The failure rate of the lamp beads will not be higher than one in ten thousand even if they are aged for 72 hours.

3. Attenuation characteristics of full-color LED display

The brightness of LED lamp beads will gradually decay as the usage time increases. The decay rate of LED lamp bead brightness is related to the LED chip, auxiliary materials, and packaging process. Generally speaking, after a 1000-hour, 20 mA room temperature lighting test, the decay of red LED lamp beads should be less than 7%, and the decay of blue and green LED lamp beads should be less than 10%. The consistency of red, green, and blue decay has a great impact on the future white balance of the full-color LED display, which in turn affects the display fidelity of the display.

4. Antistatic ability of LED display

Since LED lamp beads are semiconductor devices, they are sensitive to static electricity and can easily cause static electricity failure, so anti-static ability is crucial to the life of LED display screens. Generally speaking, the failure voltage of LED lamp beads in the human body static mode test should not be lower than 2000V.
