YOTTA® adds Y-MCOTS-C-270-[40,60]-HE to the military product series MCOTS 270 Vin DC-DC
On October 5, 2023, Arita Power announced that it has added two new products to its MCOTS series: Y-MCOTS-C-270-40-HE and Y-MCOTS-C-270-60-HE. These two products are isolated half-brick DC-DC converters that use a new generation of fixed switching frequency synchronous rectification technology to achieve compact structure, high efficiency and high power. Due to its extremely high power density, it can provide effective layout for scenes with strict space requirements.
The converter complies with military standards, its input voltage is 155-425Vdc, Y-MCOTS-C-270-40-HE series is 10-40Vdc adjustable output; Y-MCOTS-C-270-60-HE series is 24- 60 Vdc adjustable output. In addition, the converter features an adjustable current limit that can power unlimited capacitive loads or batteries. When the load current demand is higher than the set current limit, the converter will operate as a constant current source, providing an independent constant current at a certain voltage. Below the programmed current limit, the converter operates as a constant voltage source, providing a fixed, stable voltage to the load. Designers can select the output voltage by adjusting the voltage setting pin with a trimmer resistor. Like YOTTA's other Y-Mil-COTS products, this converter provides extremely efficient high-power conversion, low power consumption and other characteristics within the full output power range, and can operate at full load in a temperature environment up to 85°C.
Y-MCOTS-C-270-40-HE and Y-MCOTS-C-270-60-HE feature YOTTA's proprietary ruggedized packaging to operate in the harshest military environments, including radar/pulse loads, battery charging, Electronic warfare, RF power amplifiers, solid-state lasers, UAVs/unmanned submersibles, rotary-wing aircraft and other applications. The module has a series of advanced features, including serial communication for module configuration and monitoring, as well as active current sharing function for modules to be paralleled and external clock synchronization to improve EMI performance, and has the ability to continue operation when the module exceeds the expected temperature range. In the scene, the over-temperature protection shutdown function improves the short-term combat capability. YOTTA's field-proven, high-reliability technology shortens design cycles and helps designers deliver reliable solutions for the defense and aerospace markets.
