High-performance triple-cavity 225 μm pulsed laser diode in SMD package delivers high output power and efficiency for smart devices
Excelitas Technologies® Corp., an industrial technology leader that provides market-driven innovative optoelectronic solutions, has introduced the new TPG3AD1S09 905 nm pulsed laser diode. This third-generation high-performance triple-cavity 225 μm SMD pulsed laser diode has a high output power of 120 W for long-range ranging and provides excellent power efficiency for short- and medium-range systems. These improved designs provide excellent stability, beam quality and reliability to meet the most demanding smart home, smart city and smart factory applications.
The TPG3AD1S09 has a power slope of 3 W/A and can deliver up to 120 W of output power when operating at 40 A. It also reduces series resistance, allowing operation at lower voltages, resulting in lower power consumption and efficient light output.
