XP Power officially announced the launch of the single-phase input 3kW AC-DC power supply HDL3000-HV series, with output voltages from 150V to 400VDC, and up to 800VDC through series connection. All models have output voltage and current adjustment functions, ranging from 0 to 105%, using analog (via voltage or resistance) or digital (I2C, RS485 and RS232) interfaces, enabling users to optimize and customize power solutions according to applications.
The HDL3000-HV Series features constant voltage and constant current operation for applications requiring higher supply voltages, including battery testing and simulation systems, test and burn-in equipment, laser systems, LED curing, lighting and heating, electrolysis, motor drives, and cathodic protection.
The product is available in five output voltage versions: 150V, 200V, 250V, 300V and 400V, each with a customer-selectable 5V/0.5A or 9V/0.3A standby output. In addition to the output programming function, the output can be fine-tuned within the range of ±5%. For applications requiring higher current, up to 8 models can be connected in parallel, with active current sharing and built-in O-type diodes to simplify interconnection.
Fully isolated I2C, RS485 and RS232 interfaces provide remote control and monitoring, and LED indicators provide visual indication of DC OK, output not enabled, overvoltage, overload, overtemperature, fan fault and auxiliary standby conditions. A GUI and full user manual are available to support system development.
The HDL3000-HV series has an operating voltage range of 90V to 264VAC. When the operating voltage is below 180VAC (low line), the maximum output power is 2000W; when the voltage is between 180VAC and 264VAC (high line), the maximum output power is 3000W; when running at full load at 230VAC, the product efficiency is as high as 92%.
The ultra-compact product measures 170.0mm x 64.0mm x 301.49mm and is cooled by forced airflow from an integrated variable speed fan. The operating temperature is between -20°C and +60°C, with a maximum temperature of +50°C at full load, de-rating linearly to 50% load at +60°C.
The HDL3000-HV series is certified to IEC/UL/EN 62368-1 safety standards for AV/ICT equipment. It also complies with EN 55032 Class A conducted and radiated emissions standards, and meets EN 61000-3-2 harmonics and EN 61000-4-2 immunity standards. All models come with a 3-year warranty.
