  First: Power transformer core

  Ordinary transformers are made of stacked silicon steel sheets, while the core of a wound core transformer is wound with silicon steel strips.

  It has two functions:

  First, the alternating current in the primary coil forms an industrial frequency alternating magnetic flux Φ;

  The second is to generate electromotive force in the secondary coil through the alternating magnetic flux in the iron core to form a low-voltage power supply. The iron core is the main body to complete the conversion of electrical energy-magnetic energy-electrical energy.

  Second: Power transformer winding (commonly known as coil)

  Generally, it is made of insulated flat copper wire or round copper wire wound on a winding mold. It includes two groups: primary and secondary (high voltage and low voltage). The primary coil introduces part of the primary electrical energy into the transformer to complete the excitation process, and the other part fills the electrical energy in the secondary coil. The secondary coil converts magnetic energy into electrical energy and transmits it out.

  The coil is usually connected according to a certain electrical circuit connection method (D-delta connection or Y-star connection).

  Third: Power transformer oil tank and base

  The oil tank is filled with transformer oil for insulation and cooling. It is made of steel plates and requires high mechanical strength, small deformation, and no leakage at the welding points. Our company adopts a corrugated sheet structure, which can meet the heat dissipation requirements of transformer operation and the expansion and contraction requirements of transformer oil, eliminating the need for an oil pillow. The transformer oil is well isolated from the air, which greatly reduces the oxidation rate of the oil, extends the service life and maintenance cycle, and greatly reduces the operating cost of the transformer.

  Fourth: Power transformer body insulation

  Including primary and secondary insulation, inter-turn insulation, insulation with the iron core, and insulation with the shell. The materials used are: cardboard, epoxy resin, various insulating materials, transformer oil, electrical wood, etc. Among them, transformer oil not only has good insulation function, but also helps the transformer to dissipate heat, which is used to cool the running iron core and coil.
