   How to distinguish the quality of LED unit boards is a problem that LED display screen merchants are more concerned about, because the quality of the unit board directly affects the overall quality and performance of the LED display screen.    How to distinguish the quality of LED unit board? Look at the material

   1. LED unit board material: In order to compete at a low price, some LED unit board manufacturers use cheap flame-retardant paper boards or single-sided fiberboards as PCB circuit boards for LED lights. Because full-fiberglass PCB boards are too expensive. At the beginning, the effect is not noticeable. If you are lucky, it can last for half a year or eight months. Under normal circumstances, it will break within a year due to moisture, ultraviolet damage, oxidation, etc., causing the entire LED unit board to be scrapped. High-quality LED unit boards must use double-sided full-fiberglass PCB boards. Although the cost is high, the quality is guaranteed.

   2. IC: Observe whether the brand of IC devices used is consistent. What type of IC is used and how many ICs are used are enough to affect the quality of the board. Some merchants, in order to save costs, will deliberately reduce the number of ICs when producing unit boards, or mix in some ICs of other brands. How can the stability of the board performance be guaranteed if the ICs are different?

   3. Lamp beads and chips: It is impossible to tell the quality of lamp beads by naked eyes. It can only be determined by long-term testing, which is what experts call aging testing. Generally, small workshops power on the LED display before leaving the factory to check whether it can operate normally, and they will not conduct long-term aging testing because they cannot afford the time and labor costs.

   How to distinguish the quality of LED unit board? Specific inspection methods are introduced

   1. Check the appearance quality of the selected materials

   ①PCB board material and processing quality;

   ②IC device brand and consistency;

   ③Quality of luminous dot matrix;

   2. Check the circuit design specifications and PCB wiring to meet the LED display technology requirements;

   3. Check welding quality

   Check whether there are any missing or wrong components on the patch, and whether there are any burrs or short circuits on the component pins. Check whether the direct plug-in solder joints are smooth and round, and whether the board surface is clean and tidy, without any false solder joints or leaks. Check the flatness of the light-emitting dot matrix and the consistency of the ink color.

   4. Power-on test (refer to the steps in the "Performance Test Report")

   ①Power on to test the consistency of the luminous dot matrix;

   ②Power on to test whether the row driver tube CEM4953 is effectively protected;

   The problems with the Led unit board are mainly divided into four points:

   1. The whole board is not shining: This is mainly because the unit board is not connected to the power supply or the circuit connection inside the board is wrong, resulting in a difference in the positive and negative poles of the circuit.

   2. The board is not flashing, but the function is normal: This is caused by internal damage to the circuit board, which may cause a short circuit between the 4th and 5th pins of 74HC138.

   3. No flashing every three days: 4953 inside the board is damaged.

   4. Interlaced flashing: This can be analyzed as a circuit problem.

   ①: Check whether the 74HC245 and 74HC138 built into the unit board are poorly soldered.

   ②: Use a multimeter to measure the voltage of the first pin of 74HC138 to see if it is around 2.5V. If it is, replace 74HC138.

   ③: Measure the power transmission status of the gold needle with ICA signal.
