The U.S. Department of Energy has released the final version of the Energy Star standard for LED light source lamps and the U.S. UL certification, and safety is a very strict requirement; if the LED glass lampshade is accidentally dropped, it is easy to break and cause electric shock, and safety cannot be guaranteed, so it cannot pass the certification. The light effect is also very strict, so choosing a lampshade with high light transmittance is an inevitable choice, and glare must be prevented, so it is a key requirement that the point light source (that is, light spot ) cannot be seen.

There are a series of problems with the current LED bulb shades:

1. The glass lampshade is fragile;

2. The light transmittance of the transparent PC plus frosted lampshade is low (only 80-89%) and the defect of point light source can be seen;

3. Transparent PC with ribs or acrylic with color powder has low transmittance (only 80-89%) and the defect of point light source can be seen;

Features of qualified LED lampshade:

1. High light transmittance, high diffusion, no glare, no light and shadow;

2. The light source is extremely concealed (effectively adjust the diffusion rate and transmittance, and the transmittance reaches the maximum under the premise that the lamp beads cannot be seen);

3. The light transmittance reaches 94%;

4. High flame retardancy;

5. High impact resistance;

6. Suitable for use with LED bulbs;

7. Convert point light source into spherical light.
