1. You must choose a metal shell product: The car inverter power supply has a large power and generates a lot of heat. If the internal heat cannot be dissipated in time, it will affect the life of the components at the least, and there is a risk of fire at the worst. Metal shells have good heat dissipation characteristics on the one hand, and will not burn on the other hand. It is best not to choose products with plastic shells. In order to save costs, some products on the market use plastic shells for 150W or even 175W products. Such products, even if addedIt is not recommended to use a fan to help with heat dissipation, because the fan firstly increases the noise during use, affecting the comfort of use, and secondly, the working life is generally short, which reduces the reliability of the whole machine. If it stops one day, the consequences will be serious.

2. For driving safety, you must choose split products instead of integrated products: There are four disadvantages of the integrated type. First, because the car cigarette lighter socket is not very deep, the weight of the integrated inverter is concentrated in the rear. The bumps during the driving process of the car can easily shake off the inverter or cause poor contact of the plug. Second, the integrated inverter is plugged into the cigarette lighter socket, and the rear part is exposed for a long time. When an electrical appliance is plugged in, it will be exposed even longer, which will affect the shifting operation of the right hand. This is closely related to driving safety, so be careful. Third, because it is directly plugged into the cigarette lighter socket, the rear row of the integrated inverter cannot be used, and it can only be extended with a power strip. Fourth, the integrated shell is made of plastic. Everyone knows that plastic is not resistant to high temperatures. Therefore, if a large current passes through the part of the integrated inverter that contacts the cigarette lighter socket, it will generate high temperature, causing the head of the integrated inverter to deform or melt, and even cause a fire in severe cases. Based on the above reasons, whether from the perspective of safety or convenience, an integrated inverter cannot be used , but a split inverter with a metal shell should be used.

3. Inverter power above 150W must be equipped with battery clip wire: Car cigarette lighter fuse is generally 15A, which is only suitable for electrical appliances with rated power below 150W. If it exceeds 150W, you must use battery clip wire to directly draw power from the battery, otherwise the car wiring and fuse will burn out.

4. Choose products with sine wave or simulated sine wave output waveform: The rising and falling edges of the output waveform of products with pure square wave output are very steep, and the positive maximum value and negative maximum value are almost generated at the same time, which causes severe instability to the load and the inverter itself. At the same time, its load carrying capacity is poor and cannot carry inductive loads. If the load is too large, the third harmonic component contained in the square wave current will increase the capacitive current flowing into the load, and in severe cases, it will damage the load's power filter capacitor.

5. It should have over-temperature alarm and over-temperature protection functions: When using high-power electrical appliances, the inverter will generate a lot of heat. If the temperature is too high, it will affect the normal service life of the inverter and there is a risk of fire. Third, if you touch it without knowing it, it will burn your hands. The inverter with over-temperature protection function can emit a buzzer alarm and automatically stop working and cut off the output when the temperature rises to about 70 degrees, thereby protecting the safety of the inverter itself and the safety of the people in the car.

6. The input must have undervoltage protection: In many cases, the inverter power supply is used in the parking state. It has an input undervoltage protection function. When the battery voltage is low to a certain level, a buzzer alarm will sound to remind the user that the appliance should be turned off. When it is low to a certain level, it will automatically stop working, thus preventing the battery from over-discharging and causing the embarrassment of not being able to start the car.
