Adjustment of the Electric Assembly System of Rice Cookers

  The electrical assembly system of the popular automatic constant temperature rice cooker mainly includes magnetic steel temperature limiter, bimetallic thermostat, switch lever, pressure spring, electrostatic contact, pull rod, pressure spring sheet, power indicator light and other components.

  When the rice cooker is replaced with an assembly or a partial device, the entire assembly system needs to be adjusted. The specific adjustment steps generally include the following aspects.

  1. Check the reset state of the switch button before putting in the inner pot. Under normal circumstances, the switch button is usually pressed lightly. The switch can automatically pop up and reset. Otherwise, it may be that the temperature sensing magnet and the permanent magnet in the magnetic steel temperature limiter are too close, causing the contact to be bonded and unable to reset. It is easy to cause continuous heating during use. The specific adjustment method is to adjust the lever connected to the switch. You can use needle-nosed pliers to clamp the front end of the lever and the pull rod and pull it up slightly. The bending range of the pull should not be too large. It should just be able to separate the bonded contacts.

  2. Put the inner pot into the rice cooker. Pressing the switch button should not reset automatically. If it resets automatically. This means that the distance between the temperature-sensing magnet and the permanent magnet in the temperature limiter is too far, causing the contact to be unable to connect. Clamp the front end of the lever with needle-nosed pliers and bend it downwards gently. The bending amplitude is based on whether the contact can be closed normally.

  3. Repeat the above two steps. At the same time, check whether the travel lever of the temperature-sensing magnet can be adjusted up and down flexibly, whether there is any jamming phenomenon, or whether the spring pressure strength at the upper end of the lever is not strong enough, causing the lever to be blocked.

  4. Put some water into the inner pot and adjust the correct control temperature value of the thermostat. The temperature control/insulation in the rice cooker generally uses bimetallic and metal plate temperature control elements, and is equipped with an adjustable temperature control movable bolt. The principle of temperature control of the thermostat is that when the movable bolt rotates clockwise, the insulation temperature increases accordingly, and when it rotates counterclockwise, the insulation temperature decreases. When adjusting the insulation temperature control bolt, the easiest way is to use a thermometer to measure the actual water temperature in the pot to determine it. That is, adjust the water temperature several times to make it between 60℃ and 70℃. After adjusting, seal it with glue paint to prevent the bolts from loosening during use. In this way, the electrical contacts of the thermostat can be ensured to operate between 60℃ and 70℃.

  5. After replacing the magnetic steel temperature limiter of the rice cooker, attention must be paid to the assembly angle between the switch pull rod and the temperature limiter. If the assembly angle deviates, it will cause the temperature limiter to operate prematurely or the switch cannot be closed during use. The correct detection method is to ensure that the pull rod should be at a vertical angle when the switch is in the closed state. If it is tilted, it should be adjusted. At the same time, there should be a slight looseness in the gap between the pull rod and the connecting rod. In this way, when the inner pot is put in and powered on, it can fully ensure that the electrical contacts are in good contact.
