describe:
The LTM ® 8025 is a 36V IN , 3A step-down μModule ® converter. The switching controller, power switches, inductor and all support components are built into the package. The LTM8025 operates over an input voltage range of 3.6V to 36V, supports an output voltage range of 0.8V to 24V and a switching frequency range of 200kHz to 2.4MHz (each set by a single resistor). Only bulk input and output filter capacitors are required to complete the design.
The low profile package (only 4.32mm in height) allows unused space on the bottom of PC boards to be utilized for high density point-of-load regulation.
The LTM8025 is available in a thermally enhanced compact (15mm x 9mm), low profile (only 4.32mm high) overmolded land grid array (LGA) package suitable for automated assembly using standard surface mount equipment. The LTM8025 is RoHS compliant.
