This paper proposes a limited bipolar soft switching control strategy and studies its control mechanism. The DC blocking capacitor and saturated inductor are used to force the primary current to decay to zero before the lagging arm is turned off, thus realizing the zero current switch of the lagging arm; while the leading arm uses the external parallel capacitor of the switching device to realize zero voltage switch, realizing the soft switching of the system without increasing the complexity of the system, making the soft switching range unaffected by the load, solving the duty cycle loss problem existing in the traditional phase-shifting soft switching control strategy, improving the transformer utilization, reducing system loss, and improving power density.
