The overall production process of LED lights is quite energy-consuming

Siemens The company's technical center recently studied all the energy consumed in the production of LED lights, including the process of shipping from the Chinese factory to Europe for installation and use.

The results showed that the energy efficiency of LEDs is actually similar to that of energy-saving light bulbs on the market. Osram, a subsidiary of Germany's Siemens , said that if LEDs become more energy efficient, the figures in the report will improve.

The detailed data of this research report is expected to be released to the public this fall after being reviewed by three independent analysts.
