Application of machine vision technology in film inspection system [Copy link]

  It is reported that various stains, impurities, mosquitoes and holes on the film surface during the production process can no longer meet the needs of production and high-speed film production lines by manual inspection, which can easily cause quality loss. Film surface defect detection detects common surface defects such as dirt, streaks, damage, edge cracks, wrinkles, dark spots, bright spots, edge damage, black spots, hair, mosquitoes, etc. on the film. According to relevant information, the film detection system uses high-resolution linear array cameras, high-definition lenses and supporting linear light sources and other hardware equipment, combined with professional software technology. When the production line is in normal production, the high-brightness LED linear concentrated cold light source uses the principle of transmission to illuminate the surface of the production line (for opaque film products, the detection principle of reflection is used), and the linear array camera installed on the production line is used for real-time synchronous scanning. At the same time, the system uses the image processing system software to identify defects in the film image collected by the camera. Because the grayscale of the defective image is significantly different from that of the normal product, the system can detect defects, and effectively determine, classify and subsequently process the defects.

System linkage: When the system detects a defect, it will issue an audible and visual alarm, and other interlocking I/O outputs can also be added to the system. 7. Positioning and identification function: For each roll of product produced, the system will automatically count the surface defects of this roll of product, and print out statistical labels, affix them to each roll of product, and distribute them downstream with the product. In this way, users can rate the products by the labels on each roll of product, so as to effectively allocate uses with different quality requirements. 8. One-click export: Export the EXCEL defect list to facilitate users to make further inquiries, analysis, and file creation.
