Tektronix appoints Christopher Bohn as new global corporate president

Beijing, China, January 11, 2023 - Tektronix has appointed Christopher Bohn as President of Tektronix, a global leader in test and measurement. Chris previously served as Vice President of Global Sales and Operations, where he delivered global revenue growth and worked cross-functionally to drive integration and customer focus across all corporate revenue-related functions.


Tami Newcombe will serve as president and CEO of Precision, a Fortive Group company, starting in December 2021. Tami, who has served as president of Tektronix Technology for four years, has fully transitioned to her new role. Tektronix Technologies is an operating company within the Fordeway Group's fundamental technology portfolio of connected workflow solutions.

Chris brings extensive commercial, strategic and continuous improvement experience and expertise, having held global roles of increasing responsibility for more than 15 years at Fluke and Tektronix, two of the largest operating companies in the FortiV Group.

From 2019 to 2021, Christopher Bohn served as vice president and general manager of Keithley Portfolio Solutions, delivering double-digit performance growth driven by a simplified product and software portfolio, a customer-centric innovation roadmap, and It became the most profitable period in its more than 75-year history. Prior to joining Tektronix, Chris worked at Fluke, where he led multiple teams in sales, marketing and customer service.


Christopher Bohn graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and served in the U.S. Army for 5 years. Chris received his MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management in Evanston, Illinois.
