Keysight Technologies Helps Eling Networks Accelerate 5G Private Network Deployment in Smart Warehousing Industry
Accelerate performance verification of cloud-native 5G radio access networks in digital twin environments
Keysight Technologies, Inc. recently announced that Ailing Networks has selected the company's 5G test tools to perform end-to-end performance verification of cloud-native 5G radio access network (RAN) equipment in a digital twin laboratory environment, thereby accelerating the deployment of 5G private networks for large-scale smart warehousing applications. Keysight provides advanced design and verification solutions designed to accelerate innovation and create a secure and connected world.
AI-LINK, headquartered in China, provides industrial Internet of Things (IoT) solutions based on 5G and cloud edge computing technology platforms. AI-LINK selected Keysight's end-user equipment (UE) simulation solution (UeSIM) and cloud-native 5G core (5GC) network test solution LoadCore to simulate a large number of industrial mobile terminal devices designed for deployment in 5G private networks. Keysight's solutions help AI-LINK verify the functionality and performance of 5G RAN equipment before smart warehousing deployment.
"The completion of 3GPP Release 16 specifications for 5G New Radio (NR) paves the way for enterprise deployment of IIoT connectivity solutions based on 5G combined with digital twin, cloud and mobile edge computing technologies across different industries," said Giampaolo Tardioli, vice president and general manager of Keysight's Networks and Carriers Group. "Keysight is pleased to provide test solutions to Ailing Networks to accelerate the validation of 5G private network terminal devices used in large-scale 5G smart warehouses."
Ailing Networks uses Keysight's 5G test solution to simulate and stress test the behavior of automated guided vehicles (AGVs) used in smart warehousing. By using Keysight's UeSIM and LoadCore, Ailing Networks can verify the interoperability of the protocol domain and the RF domain. The end-to-end verification of the 5G private network in a laboratory environment enables Ailing Networks to quickly, efficiently, and securely solve complex connection problems that may arise in large-scale industrial scenarios. Therefore, the deployment of Ailing Networks' 5G private network can be accelerated.
"Ailing Network is committed to promoting the implementation of 5G edge intelligence in scenarios such as smart warehousing," said Dr. Rong Letian, Chief Marketing Officer of Ailing Network. "Ailing Network's close collaboration with Keysight Technologies enables us to optimize our one-stop deployment process."
Keysight offers comprehensive integrated 5G software and hardware test solutions that accelerate manufacturers’ 5G RAN design, development, standards compliance validation and deployment to create high-speed, low-latency and high-reliability connections in complex industrial use cases such as smart warehousing and other dedicated networks.
