Before connecting the DC ammeter, you must understand the polarity of the ammeter. Usually, there are two symbols "+" and "-" next to the terminal posts of the DC ammeter. The "+" terminal is connected to the positive pole of the DC circuit, and the "-" terminal is connected to the negative pole of the DC circuit. The wiring method is shown in Figure 3-3.
