DPO70000SX provides ultra-high bandwidth real-time signal acquisition and analysis capabilities up to 70 GHz analog bandwidth. The patented asynchronous timing interleaving (ATI) structure provides the lowest noise and highest fidelity for real-time signal acquisition. Outstanding signal fidelity and perfect signal-to-noise ratio, stable and precise multi-channel timing, achieve the most accurate analysis capabilities, compact instrument packaging, and flexible expansion and easy reconfiguration.
DPO70000SX Digital Phosphor Oscilloscope
13GHz, 16GHz, 23GHz, or 33GHz analog bandwidth
100 GS/s, 10 ps/sample real-time sampling rate
Less than half the height of a desktop computer
The DPO70000SX Series instruments are available in a 5 ¼" (3U) package that optimizes space usage and provides the most versatile mounting configurations. Two DPO70000SX instruments can be stacked lower than similar class benchtop instruments, yet provide higher measurement performance.
Complete Standalone Oscilloscope
Despite their compact size, the SX models offer full standalone oscilloscope functionality and performance. They can be directly populated with Tektronix advanced analysis applications for applications such as jitter, noise, optical modulation or spectrum analysis, without requiring a separate processor or control unit.
Familiar oscilloscope controls where you want them
The DPO7AFP Auxiliary Front Panel is an important practical accessory that completes the compact instrument package by providing user-friendly operation of familiar controls without requiring access to the front of the instrument.
The auxiliary front panel provides a separate USB peripheral
Embedded control functions for DPO/DSA/MSO/7000/70000 benchtop instruments. This accessory enhances ease of use even when the instrument front panel may be obstructed due to mounting position.
Remote desktop operation
Like current DPO/MSO70000 Series benchtop instruments, the DPO70000SX models can be operated remotely over a network using Windows® Remote Desktop. Use the Remote Desktop tool to access your oscilloscope from the lab or from anywhere in the world.
Precise synchronization of multi-unit systems
DPO70000SX Series instruments include the Tektronix UltraSync multi-unit time synchronization bus. UltraSync is used to synchronize sample clocks, triggers, and run stop controls among multiple instruments with the same performance as in a single oscilloscope. UltraSync cables are available in 1-meter and 2-meter lengths to maximize configuration and layout versatility while maintaining timing integrity across multiple systems.
When operating in a multi-instrument configuration, one DPO70000SX acts as the master unit, controlling one or more units operating in expansion mode. Any DPO70000SX oscilloscope can operate as a standalone oscilloscope, as a master unit, or as an expansion unit in a multi-instrument configuration. The roles are determined by the UltraSync cable, and no further elements are required. Users can decouple the multi-instrument configuration at any time and operate the instruments in a standalone mode without the requirement for a control unit or other accessories. Multiple standalone oscilloscopes can also be easily combined by adding UltraSync cables between the master unit and the expansion unit.
During multi-unit configuration startup, the Configuration Manager software verifies the Master-Extension cable, providing graphical feedback when elements are missing or misconfigured. After verification, the system displays the TekScope user interface, with the Master and Extensions clustered together for display and analysis using built-in features and advanced analysis applications.
