1. If you encounter a screen failure, the user can first troubleshoot the problem by themselves. You can tap the instrument with your hand. If the fault disappears, it means that there is a problem with the connection line. This problem often occurs on the Tektronix TDS3000 oscilloscope. If you encounter this problem, you can solve it by yourself, reconnect, arrange the cables, and it is best to reinforce them with hot melt adhesive;
2. If the fault does not disappear after tapping, check the display control circuit of the instrument. Usually, the high-voltage board of the display power supply is easily damaged;
3. If the instrument still does not work after these problems are eliminated, check the display control circuit and related chips;
4. Black screen failure is usually a hard failure. First, check the power supply part, and then check the display control circuit cable;
5. There is also a black screen, where you can vaguely see the waveform, but the screen is not bright. Usually, there is a problem with the high-voltage power supply part of the display;
6. Another case is that after booting up, the screen does not display anything, but the key lights are on. This usually means that the system self-check has stopped at a certain stage. It is possible that when the CPU is performing an external check, the external interface is damaged and needs to be repaired.
