Magnetic flap level gauges are classified into different categories according to different standards. Common types include standard type, anti-corrosion type (also known as lined type magnetic flap level gauge), economic type and plastic type. They are field instruments that measure the level of liquid in containers such as tanks, tanks and boxes and display it locally. In order to enable instrument users to have a deeper understanding of the anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge, this article introduces the working principle of the anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge in combination with the schematic diagram as follows to see how the anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge works and what are the similarities and differences with conventional magnetic flap level gauges.

1. Working principle of anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge

The working principle of the anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge is exactly the same as that of the conventional magnetic flap level gauge. It also realizes real-time measurement of the liquid level based on the principle of communicating vessels and magnetic coupling. When the liquid level in the measured container rises or falls, the magnetic float in the float also rises or falls. The permanent magnet in the float drives the magnetic flap outside the float to flip 180° through magnetic coupling. The two sides of the flap are painted with different colors (usually red and white) to indicate the position of the liquid level. Generally, when the liquid level in the container rises, the flap changes from white to red, and when the liquid level in the container drops, the flap changes from red to white. The red and white junction of the indicator is the actual height of the liquid level in the container, thereby realizing accurate measurement of the liquid level.

2. The difference between anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge and conventional magnetic flap level gauge

Different from conventional magnetic flap level gauges, in order to better measure corrosive media and achieve anti-corrosion effects, the magnetic float of the anti-corrosion magnetic flap level gauge (also known as lined magnetic flap level gauge) adopts an external lining process design, and the float and process connection adopt a unique lining process design, so that the lining treatment of the float and process connection reaches the best matching state, which can effectively avoid the lining rupture caused by the connection and extrusion at the flange interface of the process connection, and prevent accidental corrosion damage caused by medium leakage. This product is mainly used for the measurement of highly corrosive liquids, and is widely used in chemical, oil refining, storage and transportation, water treatment and other industries.

Its working principle diagram is shown in the figure below.
