A network tester is also commonly called a professional network tester or a network detector. Cable tester (such as FLUKE DSX2-5000, DSX2-8000). It is mainly used for network media detection, including parameters such as cable length, crosstalk attenuation, signal-to-noise ratio, line diagram and cable specifications, and is often used in integrated wiring construction.
Multifunctional network tester usually refers to a network detection device that integrates multiple test functions, such as integrated link identification, cable search, cable diagnosis, line sequence scanning, topology monitoring, Ping function, port search, POE detection, etc. This type of equipment has complete functions and a wide range of applications, and is competent for network maintenance, network construction and cable diagnosis.
OneTouch AT Network Performance Tester
Network performance testers (such as NETALLY OneTouch AT) are high-end devices with main functions including network traffic testing, data interception, IP query, traffic analysis, etc. They are often used in large-scale network security fields and are industry products.
3. According to its purpose, it can be divided into network construction equipment and network maintenance equipment.
Network construction equipment mainly refers to the equipment used in network integrated cabling construction. It emphasizes excellent product quality, accurate measurement data, etc., and can adapt to the construction environment and data requirements.
Network maintenance equipment focuses more on products with complete functions and multiple uses, and can deal with various problems that arise in the network. Usually, there is no clear boundary between construction equipment and maintenance equipment, and the choice is mainly based on specific circumstances and requirements.
The use of network testers can greatly reduce the time network administrators spend on troubleshooting network failures, improve the work efficiency of integrated wiring construction personnel, accelerate project progress and quality, and is an indispensable tool in network detection and construction.
