1. What are the main application areas of desktop multimeters?
As an essential test instrument for test and measurement, a benchtop multimeter generally includes basic test functions such as voltage, current, ohm, temperature, and frequency. Keithley DMM7510 is the first graphic sampling multimeter that combines a high-precision, high-resolution digital multimeter (DMM), a graphic touch screen display, and a high-speed, high-resolution digitizer. It has pA sensitivity and a sampling rate of 1M samples/second, and can accurately measure ultra-low sleep mode currents and leakage currents of wireless transmission devices. It is widely used in the testing of Bluetooth modules, NB-IOT modules, Lora modules, sensor chips, and other products.
2. What are the testing issues we are most concerned about and how to solve them?
Problem 1: The waveform cannot be completely captured when measuring power consumption (for example, the wireless module transmission time lasts less than 1ms, and the ordinary multimeter cannot display the waveform, resulting in waveform loss);
Problem 2: The current accuracy cannot be accurately measured when measuring power consumption (for example, although the oscilloscope can capture signals less than 1ms when the wireless module is transmitting, it cannot accurately measure tiny signals as small as nA level, resulting in incorrect results); Question 3: Ordinary instruments cannot measure the long-term standby power consumption of products, ranging from several hours to 1-2 months;
