How is the reading difference between the total meter and the sub-meter of the flow meter measured? Many people are asking about this question. Many people also ask about the introduction of flow meter measurement and reading. Today I will tell you about the requirements in two aspects:


1. Usually the meter is designed to operate at around 80%-90% of the full flow. If half of the sub-meters are disabled, that is, half of the branch flows are closed, then the total meter may operate at around 40% of the full flow. If the basic error of the instrument used is 1.5%, the maximum difference between the total meter and the rest of the sub-meters may be 5.6% of the measured value. If fewer sub-meters are in operation, the reading of the total meter and the sum of the sub-meters will increase.

2. The difference between the value of the saturated steam main flowmeter installed at the boiler outlet and the value of the workshop sub-meter is very large, because of the influence of the change in steam dryness. The dryness at the boiler outlet is generally higher, but on the sub-meter, the dryness is seriously reduced due to poor upstream transportation and insulation of the pipe, and part of the steam condenses into water, increasing the difference in the measured value.
