Gas flow meter installation instructions

①Initial location for installing the gas flow meter:

a. The gas flowmeter should be installed with the Roots shaft horizontally. If the flowmeter is not horizontal, the side ring will directly bear the weight of the rotor and will be easily worn. As a result, the side of the gas flowmeter will directly contact the side cover, and the accuracy will change;

b. The direction of the fluid should be consistent with the direction of the arrow on the flow meter body. If installed in reverse, the pointer will reverse and cause adverse consequences.

② Gas flow meter piping precautions:

a. Set up a bypass to facilitate removal or inspection of the flow meter;

b. A filter should be installed close to the flow meter;

c. When the fluid contains a large amount of dirt and impurities, the filter diameter should be one level larger than the general standard or a parallel double filter should be installed, see figure.

d. When the pipe is vertical, the flow meter should be installed on the secondary line, as shown in Figure 2. When the fluid flows from bottom to top, the vertical pipe on the top of the flow meter should be as short as possible to reduce the precipitation of impurities in the upper pipe;

e. When air is mixed into the fluid, an air separator should be installed
