The advantages of electromagnetic flowmeter for chilled water detection: for example: no pressure loss, high accuracy, good stability. However, due to the characteristics of chilled water, some issues should be noted in the use of electromagnetic flowmeter.
  
  The first is the internal problem of electromagnetic flowmeter, pay attention to the problem of negative pressure of memory. When the measured medium is corrosive, we have to use polytetrafluoroethylene memory material. But the electromagnetic flowmeter using polytetrafluoroethylene material cannot withstand negative pressure.
  
  There are two ways to solve the problem:
  
  first, change the original vent valve to a one-way valve (check valve). When there is a slight negative pressure in the pipeline, the check valve automatically opens and sucks air from the atmosphere, thereby ensuring safety.
  
  Second, the use of skeleton memory has the disadvantage of increasing investment costs.
  
  The above are the matters that electromagnetic flowmeter should pay attention to in chilled water measurement. Another flowmeter suitable for chilled water measurement is the time difference ultrasonic flowmeter, which also needs to pay attention to some issues in use. For example: since the sensor and the cable plug may be wrapped in the insulation layer, in order to prevent condensation from damaging the sensor, the protection level of the cable plug should be IP68 submersible protection level.
