Working principle of carbon sulfur analyzer: after the carrier gas (oxygen) is purified, it is introduced into the combustion furnace (resistance furnace or high frequency furnace). The non-ferrous metal analyzer sample is oxidized by oxygen at high temperature in the combustion furnace, so that the carbon and sulfur in the sample are oxidized into CO2, CO and SO2. The generated oxides are carried into the sulfur detection cell by oxygen after passing through the dust removal and water removal purification device to measure sulfur. After that, the mixed gas containing CO2, CO, SO2 and O2 enters the heated catalyst furnace together, and undergoes catalytic conversion CO→CO2, SO2→SO3 in the catalyst furnace. After this mixed gas enters the desulfurization reagent tube, the three-element analyzer introduces it into the carbon detection cell to measure carbon. The residual gas is discharged to the outside by the analyzer. At the same time, the analysis results of carbon and sulfur are displayed on the LCD screen of the host and the connected computer monitor in the form of %C and %S and stored in the computer so that they can be called up at any time, and can also be printed out through the connected printer.

Maintenance of carbon and sulfur analyzer, some common problems of carbon and sulfur analyzer
Good:
1. The electrode is too high, and the current is too small when striking the arc. Lower the electrode height to an appropriate position. The current is best between 5-10 when striking the arc.

Arc cannot be struck:
1. The capacitor or high frequency coil is broken down.
2. The relay is not working properly.

Check each circuit, replace the capacitor or high-frequency coil.
Check whether the connector is loose. If the relay is replaced, it still does not work. For chemical analysis instruments, replace the relay. If the arc is not stopped: immediately turn off the power, and then check whether the arc switch (or analysis key) is stuck. If it is stuck, replace the starter or analysis key.

Note:
1. Is there oxygen in the oxygen cylinder?
2. Is the distance between the burning object and the copper electrode kept at 6-8 mm? If the distance is too large, pull the copper electrode down. If it cannot be pulled, it means that the electrode has been worn out and needs to be replaced.
3. Is the power supply connected?

The carbon-sulfur analyzer is a world-leading high-tech carbon-sulfur analyzer launched in the new century. It has the advantages of automatic switching between high carbon and low carbon and high sulfur and low sulfur, switching between resistance furnace and high-frequency furnace, high sensitivity, stable performance, accurate and reliable analysis results, wide measurement range and wide application. The carbon-sulfur analyzer can quickly analyze the carbon and sulfur content in solid and fluid materials such as steel, cast iron, copper, alloy, ore, cement, ceramics, carbon compounds, minerals, coal, coke, petroleum, ash, catalyst, lime, gypsum, soil, rubber, leaves, soot, garbage, sand, glass, etc.
