X-ray digital imaging detection technology introduces the composition and imaging mechanism of various X-ray digital imaging (DR) systems, and analyzes their performance indicators, advantages and disadvantages, and application fields. Photon amplification DR systems (such as image intensifier DR systems) have good real-time performance, but the adapted ray energy is low and the detection sensitivity is relatively low; other systems have higher detection sensitivity but longer imaging time. The main difference in the imaging method of DR systems lies in the ray detector. In addition to the ray conversion method, the main factors affecting the system detection sensitivity are scattering noise and quantum noise; the detection sensitivity can be improved by adding a collimator and photon integration noise reduction methods. The structure and imaging principle of digital radiographic (DR) systems are introduced. And the characteristics, performances, advantages, disadvantages and applications of the systems are analyzed. The DR system with photon amplification such as the DR system withintensifier can get real-time imaging, but it fits for lowerenergy and its inspection sensitivity is lower. The systems working with high energy can obtain higher sensitivity, while is time-eonsurning. The imaging way of a DR system depends on the detector used, and the factors influencinginspection sensitivity are the quantum noise from ray source and scatter noise besides the transform way of rays.Quantum integration noise reducer and collimator can be used to improve the inspection sensitivity of the system.
