In the face of this market development trend, how can we grasp the pulse of industry development and user needs? What new opportunities and challenges does the terminal equipment face in the 4G era? How to maintain their own development advantages in the fierce market competition? At the "4G/LTE Technology and Forum" held by Electronics Enthusiasts, Mr. Wan Liming, Business Development Manager of Anritsu, brought us an integrated solution for terminal testing in the 4G field.
Anritsu Business Development Manager Wan Liming said that Anritsu can provide complete LTE test solutions, from chip-level R&D solutions to product-level R&D solutions to production test solutions and complete terminal test systems, which can accurately grasp the last hurdle of terminal products.
Manager Wan said that Anritsu can provide a complete LTE product line, development, manufacturing, engineering and integrated service model, with business covering global networks, focusing on the global 4G/LTE market, and providing testing services in four major areas. First, for mobile broadband networks, it can meet interoperability testing and operator reception testing, production testing and consistency testing; second, for the communication network field, it can address reliability issues such as wireless network base station networks, wireless backhaul connection networks, and wired communication connection networks; third, electronic components and systems, quality assessment of electronic components and public and commercial wireless communication equipment and automotive electronics, manufacturing industry and millimeter wave/microwave communication systems; fourth, in optical and high-speed equipment, Anritsu provides high-efficiency optical devices and high-speed electronic equipment to help the development of optical communication systems, medicine, industry and disaster prevention, such as UFED (ultra-high-speed electronic devices), phase shifters, and optical devices. It can provide good testing solutions.

Chip-level research: RTD + signaling tester system
Currently, chip companies generally use programming languages to design chip test processes, but code languages bring many problems, such as requiring a large amount of documentation/annotations to ensure code readability; the transfer between writers and maintainers is very difficult; changes in protocol specifications lead to a lot of maintenance work for test cases, etc. Manager Wan pointed out that Anritsu provides a complete test system solution of RTD (Rapid Test Designer) + signaling tester, which can help users quickly complete the development and performance testing of LTE chip protocols.
Product-level research: a turnkey suite of application testing
According to the on-site introduction, Anritsu's LTE application testing includes power consumption testing, regression testing, voice quality, VOLTED and other field testing of the entire system, which is a "turnkey" solution for various application tests. At the same time, there is also a graphical UI and built-in test scripts, which can be used for convenient and concise testing. [page]
In LTE-A RF testing, Anritsu uses multi-carrier testing, which can be presented in a variety of ways. For example, MT8821C can provide testing support for eight lines, supporting frequency bands from 30Mhz to 6Ghz carriers, and can provide users with prepared RF testing support. At the same time, in the improvement plan stage, various parameters have been upgraded, especially in the software part, which will further enhance the user experience value.
Production testing: Cellular + SRW one-stop solution
Manager Wan said that in production testing, the solution can provide 10M-6GHz full-band coverage and 160MHz analysis bandwidth, which has been well used in PingPong testing and Cellular + SRW one-stop testing.
Finally, Manager Wan emphasized that Anritsu can comprehensively solve the problems at all levels of LTE testing. Through core R&D MD8430A, consistency test system CAT, R&D application test MD8475A, RF comprehensive test MT8821C, production test MT8870A and other solutions, it can help users solve the difficulties caused by insufficient capabilities, complex testing, tight time and continuous innovation of new technologies. Anritsu can become the best partnership with users and achieve win-win results.
