The function of a logic analyzer is to display the operation status of a digital system in an easy-to-observe form, analyze the digital system, and determine faults. Its main features are as follows:
There are enough input channels
It has a variety of flexible triggering modes to ensure accurate positioning of the observed data stream (for software, it can track any program segment in the system operation; for hardware, it can detect and display the burr interference in the system).
It has a memory function, can observe single and non-periodic data information, and can diagnose random faults.
It has delay capability to analyze the cause of the fault.
It has a limiting function to select the data you want to obtain and delete irrelevant data.
It has multiple display modes, and can display programs using characters, mnemonics, and assembly language; display data in binary, octal, decimal, hexadecimal, etc.; and use timing diagrams to display the timing relationship between information.
It has the ability to drive time domain instruments to reproduce the true waveform of the signal to be tested and facilitate fault location.
It has reliable burr detection capability.
