Qorvo Wi-Fi 7 FEM optimized to support MediaTek MT6653 Wi-Fi 7/Bluetooth® single chip
Beijing, China, November 1, 2024 - Qorvo®, a leading global provider of connectivity and power solutions, today announced that MediaTek has selected Qorvo as a key supplier of the first Wi-Fi 7 front-end module (FEM) on the MediaTek MT6653 Wi-Fi 7/Bluetooth® single chip . Both Qorvo's Wi-Fi 7 FEM and the MediaTek MT6653 used in the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 platform are optimized to help enhance the performance, power efficiency and technical features of Wi-Fi 7 in mobile devices, providing a best-in-class end-user experience.

Qorvo offers a very broad, advanced portfolio of Wi-Fi 7 FEMs for mobile applications, helping customers select the ideal solution for their specific products and market segments. Qorvo's Wi-Fi 7 FEMs for mobile applications offer great flexibility in power management and efficiency, which is critical to meeting the performance needs of 5G smartphones. These solutions are equipped with additional transmission modes to improve efficiency and throughput across the entire operating power range. Qorvo FEMs support linear and nonlinear architectures, as well as a variety of high and low power products. Its support covers the entire Wi-Fi 7 spectrum, meeting the needs of many applications including smartphones, customer premise equipment (CPE), enterprise and industrial computing.
Qorvo also offers Wi-Fi iFEMs with integrated BAW filters that ensure optimal performance and reduce board space requirements while increasing efficiency and throughput.
Qorvo Wi-Fi 7 FEMs supporting the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 platform will be available in volume quantities in the fourth quarter of 2024.
