SHT31 Smart Gadget Function Introduction

The SHT31_Smart_Gadget_User_Guide document is provided in the review activity post, which contains a detailed introduction.

Board display

When the board is turned on, the LCD displays humidity and temperature information in two lines. By pressing the button in the lower left corner, the humidity information can be switched to dew point information (the temperature at which the water vapor content in the air reaches saturation. Below this temperature, water vapor precipitates from the air and condenses into water droplets).

Bluetooth connection

Long press the button to turn on the Bluetooth function. The LCD displays the rfon information, and the Bluetooth symbol starts flashing on the LCD screen. According to the public application store address provided by the document, the APP cannot be downloaded because it is a foreign APP store address. So I searched the company name SENSIRION in the APP and found a SENSIRION MyAmbience application, which was developed by SENSIRION AG. I downloaded it and it worked perfectly. (The above APP search process is applicable to IOS users)

When the Bluetooth of the board is turned on, click Add Gadget on the main interface to directly search for SHT31 Smart Gadget and click Add.

The APP not only provides data display, but also provides color reminders of comfort status. The data also has curve display and historical data display, which is very rich.

There is a very interesting function, that is, you can customize the character, with gender and accessories to choose from, which is quite interesting. Each character can set his or her own comfortable temperature and humidity range.

The APP also provides a data collection function, which can be set on the APP and the board will automatically collect data. Then the data can be exported to social software or computers through the APP.

Extension Development

SENSIRION has its own homepage on github ( https://github.com/Sensirion ), which contains information about SHT31 Smart Gadget, which can be selected by entering the keyword SmartGadget. The information includes the schematic diagram of the board, the source code of the two MCUs on the board, and the source code of the IOS/ANDROID APP, etc. It is very useful in playing with this board later.

The program of Nrf51822 is based on the project of KEIL.

The MC9S08LL8 program is based on CodeWarrior project.
