CES Asia 2020 postponed, exhibitors can get full refund

On March 9, CES Asia (Asia Consumer Electronics Show) announced that the 2020 Asia Consumer Electronics Show, originally scheduled to be held in Shanghai, China from June 10 to 12, 2020, will be postponed. Exhibitors who have signed exhibition contracts will have their booth fees paid fully refunded. 

CES officials said in the announcement that they made this difficult decision after carefully considering the concerns and worries expressed by all participants of the exhibition, including exhibitors, professional buyers, media reporters, and speakers participating in the forum. At present, the new coronavirus is spreading around the world, and CES officials believe that postponing the event is undoubtedly the best choice to protect everyone's health and life safety.

Affected by the epidemic, many exhibitions at home and abroad have been cancelled or postponed. The MWC2020 World Mobile Communications Conference in Barcelona was previously cancelled due to "force majeure" and no refunds would be provided to exhibitors. Google also announced the cancellation of its 2020 I/O Developer Conference.

Last week, AWE officially notified that due to the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic, AWE2020 will be postponed to March 2021, when it will be merged with AWE2021.
