Stratasys (Nasdaq: SSYS), a global leader in 3D printing and additive manufacturing solutions, has released its latest F120™ 3D printer in the Chinese market. The F120 is the latest member of the Stratasys F123™ FDM® printer product series. Using Stratasys' reliable FDM® technology (Fused Deposition Modeling), coupled with powerful printer engineering-grade materials, the F120 brings a 3D printing solution that combines high cost-effectiveness, desktop flexibility, and optimal industrial-grade features to Chinese designers, engineers, and educational institutions, making quasi-industrial-grade 3D printing quality within reach of non-professionals.
The new product launch ceremony was held in the ancient city of Xi'an by Stratasys and Shaanxi Feifanshi 3D Technology Co., Ltd., the general agent of F120 3D printer in China. Mr. Jiang Tong, deputy director of the Management Committee of Weinan High-tech Zone and head of Weinan 3D Printing Base, Mr. Michael Agam, president of Stratasys South Asia, leaders of Feifanshi at all levels, and representatives of agents at all levels across the country attended the launch ceremony. Feifanshi is a domestic high-tech enterprise that not only has rich market development experience in the field of desktop and industrial 3D printers, but also has accumulated deep customer experience in the field of 3D printing.
Michael Agam, President of Stratasys South Asia, said: “3D printing technology has been around for more than 30 years and is often hailed as the ‘next industrial revolution’. It is considered the cornerstone of rapid prototyping and has delivered on its promise to make companies more competitive by providing them with the necessary tools to streamline and optimize product development processes. As a pioneer and global leader in 3D printing solutions, Stratasys has been committed to innovation and creation of reliability and repeatability, and strives to create products with excellent performance and accuracy to meet the growing needs of customers in industries such as aerospace, automotive, consumer products, healthcare and education.”
"As China continues to promote the transformation and upgrading of its manufacturing industry and move towards becoming a manufacturing powerhouse, China's demand for advanced 3D and additive manufacturing technologies and solutions is increasing day by day. As a result, additive manufacturing technologies and solutions have become an indispensable part of this transformation, standing on par with many other technologies such as artificial intelligence or the Internet of Things. This is why China has always been a strategic market for Stratasys, and now it is even more important for us to ensure that our customers can find the most suitable solution for each of their specific needs. This is why we have been expanding our investment in recent years, including a larger new experience center and more experts in solutions and application areas. By increasing investment and relying on our industry-leading 3D printing technology, global experience, local resources and partners, we are confident that we can work hand in hand with our customers to help them continuously optimize their business and grow. The strong launch of the F120 once again confirms our commitment to actively cultivating the Chinese market." Andy On further stated.
The F120 is the first desktop 3D printer launched by Stratasys. However, unlike other desktop 3D printers on the market, the F120 is highly cost-effective and has achieved quasi-industrial-grade printing results. The printing model has excellent performance, and the machine supports 3D printing of up to 254x254x254 mm, which can be used for functional testing in multiple industries such as automobiles, electronics, and education. The F120 uses ABS-M30™ and ASA thermoplastics, which are industrial-grade materials with excellent strength, durability, and finish, meeting various 3D printing needs such as molding and manufacturing.
The F120 launched by Stratasys is equipped with GrabCAD printing software, which enables seamless printing process and stable printing job monitoring, thereby maximizing printing progress and output. Therefore, the F120 provides 3D printing users with an unprecedented printing experience.
As one of the important technologies to promote the upgrading and transformation of my country's manufacturing industry, 3D printing has received strong support from national policies. In recent years, my country's 3D printing (including desktop) industry has developed strongly, and the market scale has continued to expand, exceeding US$2 billion in 2018. It is expected that this strong growth trend will continue in the future.
