Qisda launches smart factory to solve the planning of new PCB factories.jpg

【JDPCB】Qisda is introducing smart factories in phases. Chairman Chen Qihong said yesterday (25th) that through high automation, order delivery can be accelerated. The current benefits have reached a 51% reduction in online manpower, an increase in overall production efficiency of more than 74%, and an increase in production efficiency per square meter of 52%. It is expected that the investment benefits can be recovered within 2 years. He also revealed that Qisda's smart factory solutions have now entered Taiwan's heavyweight information and communication electronics factories, PCB factories, and wireless communication factories, and have also entered factories on both sides of the Taiwan Strait.

Qisda pointed out that smart factories emphasize small quantities and variety, high quality and high efficiency, and fast delivery. In the first phase (2014-2016), the Taoyuan Guishan plant introduced smart handling AGVs and smart warehousing WMS, achieving a 30% reduction in warehousing area, a 30% reduction in manpower, and smart environmental safety management SESM (zero fire/work injury/theft); the second phase (2016-2018) was to build a human-machine collaborative production line, integrate robot arms and visual systems, and take the lead in introducing mobile robot arms.

The global PCB proofing service provider "JDBO" learned that Qisda's smart manufacturing solution has the advantage of professional technology and experience, breaking through the waste of investment caused by most of the companies on the market being unable to cooperate with customers in production line expansion or process changes. Chen Qihong said that currently there are factories in Taiwan and China that have introduced it. Customers usually copy the results of Taiwanese factories to China if they find good results; or they implement it on a small scale in the initial stage, and then expand the use of old factories and plan new factories in the future.

According to JDT, Qisda's smart factory solutions have already penetrated Taiwan's heavyweight ICT electronics factories, PCB factories, and wireless communications factories, and have also expanded into factories on both sides of the Taiwan Strait. In the future, it will focus on the planning and design of whole-factory automation, focusing on mobile robot arm software and hardware integrated value-added solutions, improving quality and efficiency during factory transformation, and significantly reducing production costs.
