The relevant person in charge of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office on October 22 that the system transformation of the number portability website has been completed and is being jointly debugged and tested across China. The "number portability website" service will be officially provided across China before the end of November.

Based on previous trials, five provinces, including Tianjin, Jiangxi, Hainan, Hubei and Yunnan, officially provided services on September 19.

Data shows that by the end of September this year, 2.9 million people had completed "number portability" in pilot provinces and cities. In addition, the system construction and transformation in the other 25 provinces have been completed and are being coordinated and tested nationwide. By the end of November this year, the "number portability" service will be officially provided nationwide.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the three major telecom operators will provide number portability services across China before November 30 this year. In the future, you can change operators without changing your mobile phone number, and you can complete the number portability service in three steps.
