According to news on January 4, Lei Jun just announced that the first major event in 2024 will be to award the million-dollar annual technology award to Xiaomi engineers.

This is Xiaomi's annual reserve program and the highest-level award within Xiaomi. It rewards teams of less than 10 people who have made key breakthroughs in major technological innovation projects.

The two award-winning teams this year are Xiaomi's Pascal OS architecture and integrated large-scale die-casting technology. They won the million-dollar award and made important contributions to Xiaomi's realization of a "full ecology for people, cars, and homes".

It is reported that there are 9 key projects in this million-dollar award, namely: CTB inverted battery, CyberDog 2 robotic technology, HyperConnect new cross-terminal interconnection framework, new generation Kaldi, Xiaomi Surging OS, integrated large die-casting technology, Xiaomi Longjing Glass, Xiaomi Dragon Scale Fiber, MIX Fold 3 keel hinge and three-dimensional laminate.

It can be seen that there are many technical teams in mobile phones, automobiles, systems, etc., and the final winner is the direction that has important strategic significance for Xiaomi's planning at this stage and even in the next few years.

It is understood that Xiaomi’s Leica imaging team, which won a million-dollar award last year, especially the Mi 12S Ultra, has completely established Xiaomi in the high-end imaging flagship camp and become the first echelon.
