Recently, the statistics agency Strategy Analytics released the global 5G mobile phone shipment rankings in the first quarter of this year (2021 Q1).

In the quarter, cumulative shipments of 5G mobile phones reached 135 million units, a 6% increase from the previous quarter.

In terms of manufacturers, Apple ranked first with 40.4 million units shipped. Undoubtedly, they were all iPhone 12 series, a 23% decline from the fourth quarter of last year, which was the first three months when the iPhone 12 series was launched.

The 2nd to 5th places are OPPO, vivo, Samsung and Xiaomi, and their shipments all increased by double digits month-on-month. Even Xiaomi, which had the smallest increase, had a 41% increase.

Unfortunately, due to well-known reasons, Huawei disappeared from the TOP5.

We compared the data with the first quarter of last year, when Huawei (including Honor) shipped 8 million units, ranking second in the world, second only to Samsung.
