Recently, Sandy Hu, President of Texas Instruments (TI) China, attended the 2017 Forbes China Outstanding Business Women Awards Ceremony held by Forbes in Beijing and was awarded the title of "2017 China Outstanding Business Women". In the 2017 China's Most Outstanding Business Women list released by Forbes in January 2017, Sandy Hu was the only woman from a multinational semiconductor company on the list.

In order to comprehensively measure the influence of women in business and explore the successful paths of female business leaders, this year is the third time that Forbes has released the list of China's Most Outstanding Women in Business. It mainly selects female managers who can have an impact on their companies, industries, and even the wider world. The operating income, operational quality, number of people managed, public influence and international expansion of the companies they run are used as measurement indicators to assess their ability to coordinate operations and manage their companies, and the ranking is determined in a quantitative manner.

Ms. Hu Yuhua joined TI in 2000 as a technical sales engineer and was later promoted to account manager, responsible for supporting several important customers of TI. Since then, Ms. Hu Yuhua has held several leadership positions in the sales and marketing application teams, helping to expand TI's business in the Chinese market and promote close cooperation and win-win development between TI and its customers. In 2013, Ms. Hu Yuhua was appointed as the general manager of sales and marketing applications for TI China, with full responsibility for strengthening TI's position and business development in the Chinese market. In 2015, Ms. Hu Yuhua officially took over as president of Texas Instruments China, responsible for managing TI's operations in China, and continued to lead TI's sales and marketing application teams in China to expand TI's business growth in the fields of analog and embedded processing.
